Nghe An participates in VITM 2018 International Tourism Fair.

VITM 2018 took place from March 29th to April 1st, 2018, at the ICE Hanoi International Exhibition Center (Friendship Cultural Palace) - 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi.

This year's Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2018 attracted 679 businesses and tourism management and promotion agencies from 45 provinces/cities nationwide and 21 countries and territories. It is expected that approximately 40,000 discounted air tickets and over 15,000 special discounted package tours will be offered at the Fair.

Participating in the Fair, the Nghe An delegation included representatives from the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Information and Promotion Center, representatives from several key tourism districts and cities, and tourism and hotel businesses in the area.

Foreign tourists and journalists learn about tourism in Nghe An.

This year, Nghe An, along with Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh provinces, is organizing a large space (72m²).²) to promote and introduce at the Fair. Visiting the Nghe An province booth, tourists will receive general information about new tourist routes and destinations in the province, meet tourism businesses, and discover Nghe An specialties such as Cua Lo seafood, Nam Dan soy sauce, turmeric starch, oranges, etc. Some folk games will be organized for interaction, and gifts will be given to visitors.

Immediately after the opening ceremony on the morning of March 29th, thanks to its advantageous location and elaborate and impressive display, hundreds of delegates, partners, and tourists came to visit, learn about, and exchange cooperation ideas with businesses from Nghe An.
