On the morning of April 22, the Provincial Election Committee held a meeting to assess the implementation of election preparations and decide on a number of issues under its authority. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Election Committee: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee who are members of the Provincial Election Committee: Bui Thanh An - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee; Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Commander of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of provincial departments, branches and organizations.

By April 12, the entire province had completed the compilation and posting of the list.votersin the polling stations. The total number of voters in the province up to this point is more than 2.2 million people. The total number of election teams established in the province is 3,416 units.

Propaganda work has been implemented in various forms by sectors and localities; security, social order and safety work has been actively coordinated by sectors and localities to grasp the situation, without complications arising.

The work of receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations is carried out in accordance with regulations.

Up to this point, the Provincial Election Committee has received 2 complaints related to candidates for district-level People's Council deputies; at the district level, it has received 7 complaints related to candidates for district-level People's Council deputies; at the commune level, it has received 20 complaints related to candidates for commune-level People's Council deputies.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Election Committee gave their opinions on some difficulties at the grassroots level; some recommendations and proposals related to the planned allocation of candidates for the 15th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies according to constituencies and election service costs.

Focus on grassroots leadership

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee emphasized: In the coming time, the election work will enter the peak and final stage, deciding the success of the election work.

Some opinions suggested that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issue documents directing and guiding the Fatherland Front at all levels to organize election campaigns for candidates seriously, democratically, equally and in accordance with the law.
