Nghe An: 12 more gas stations and fuel dealers cease operations.
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Trade Management Department of the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, from the beginning of 2023 to the present, 11 gasoline stations and 1 general agency in the province have requested to cease operations and had their business licenses revoked.
Of these, Yen Thanh district has the highest number of gas stations that have ceased operations, with 4 establishments.Ngoc Vinh Gas StationIn Hamlet 2, Tang Thanh Commune; Kim Hoa Gas Station in Team 9, Van Thanh Commune; Dong Tam Kinh Bac Gas Station in Hamlet 7, Lang Thanh Commune; Luong Thuc Yen Thanh Gas Station in Block 2, Yen Thanh Town.

Next is Nam Dan district with 2 gas stations ceasing operations: one in Phuong Kieu hamlet, Trung Phuc Cuong commune and Huong Lien gas station in Dong Cham hamlet, Nam Cat commune. Que Phong, Hoang Mai, Nghia Dan, Tan Ky, Nghi Loc, Con Cuong districts each have 1 gas station ceasing operations.

A representative from the Trade Management Department of the Department of Industry and Trade stated that, except for one main distributor, Huyen Vinh Co., Ltd., in Hamlet 1, Nghi Quang Commune, most of the gas stations that ceased operations were small-scale businesses located on inconvenient roads and in unfavorable locations, resulting in inefficient operations. In particular, since the government tightened the supply of gasoline and diesel and maintained the current low discount rate, they have suffered losses.
