Nghe An: 12 more communes meet the standards for new rural areas.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of November 24th, the Organizing Committee for the National Target Program on Building New Rural Areas in the province evaluated, assessed, and voted to recognize 12 communes as having met the standards for New Rural Areas in 2017.
Comrade Dinh Viet Hong – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Rural Development Program for New Rural Development in the province, presided over the meeting.

Twelve communes across four districts were recognized by the Appraisal Council as meeting the standards for New Rural Development in 2017: Minh Thanh, My Thanh, Trung Thanh (Yen Thanh district), Nam Tan, Nam Phuc, Khanh Son, Nam Linh, Xuan Lam (Nam Dan district), Dien Phuc, Dien Xuan (Dien Chau district), Nghia Lien, Nghia Tan (Nghia Dan district).
According to the summary report of the Provincial Rural Development Program Coordination Office, in 2017, these 12 localities implemented many effective and innovative approaches, making strong breakthroughs and mobilizing resources to complete all 19 criteria.
All 12 communes have no outstanding debts for basic infrastructure construction in the New Rural Development program.

The members of the Provincial New Rural Development Assessment Council conducted a vote. As a result, all 12 communes were recognized by the Assessment Council as meeting the new rural development standards in 2017.
