According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Center, at 1:00 AM on August 2nd, the typhoon's center will be located at approximately 19.2 degrees North latitude and 107.8 degrees East longitude, over the Gulf of Tonkin, about 120 km south of Bach Long Vi island district. The strongest winds near the center of the typhoon will be at level 8 (60-75 km/hour). By 1:00 AM on August 3rd, the typhoon's center will be located at approximately 20.3 degrees North latitude and 105.2 degrees East longitude, over the mainland in the southern part of the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa province.

In Nghe An province, due to the influence of a tropical depression, moderate to heavy rain fell last night and early this morning. The rainfall from 7 PM on July 31st to 7 AM on August 1st ranged from 20 to 40 mm.

*Kcontrolarresting young men on the spot.The suspect was carrying heroin and boarding a passenger bus from Nghe An to the North for distribution. Accordingly, at 4 PM on July 31st, information was received that the suspect would be taking a passenger bus to transport drugs through Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district.
