*CAlso in the economic field, after days of rain and storms, the largest vegetable "warehouse"Vinh city has not yet recovered.
Accordingly, unusual and extreme weather conditions, record-high prices for vegetable seeds, etc., are the difficulties that have prevented vegetable growers in Vinh Xuan vegetable growing area, Hung Dong commune (Vinh City) from producing the winter crop – the main vegetable crop of the year.
According to vegetable growers in Vinh Xuan, two months ago, the price of mustard greens seeds was only 38,000 VND/kg, but after the recent storms, it has skyrocketed to 72,000 VND/kg. If they don't grow vegetables, they won't have any income, but planting at this time is too expensive, and people are afraid they won't make a profit, so they don't dare to plant much.
