*CAlso in the economic field, after the stormy days, the largest vegetable "barn"Vinh city has not been able to recover.
Accordingly, unusual and extreme weather conditions, record high vegetable seed prices... are the difficulties that prevent vegetable growers in Vinh Xuan vegetable area, Hung Dong commune (Vinh city) from producing the winter crop - the main vegetable crop of the year.
Vegetable growers in Vinh Xuan said: 2 months ago, the price of mustard seeds was only 38,000 VND/kg, but after the recent storm, it skyrocketed to 72,000 VND/kg. If people do not grow vegetables, they will have no income, but if they grow them at this time, the cost is high, people are afraid of not making a profit so they do not dare to grow much.
