Nghe An: Highlights on November 10

* On the morning of November 10, in the working program at the 6th Session, the 15th National Assembly approved the State budget estimate for 2024. After listening to the Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee Le Quang Manh present the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Resolution on the State budget estimate for 2024, the National Assembly proceeded to vote.

The National Assembly decided to implement from July 1, 2024.comprehensive reform of wage policyAccording to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018 of the 7th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee (funding for salary reform is guaranteed from the accumulated salary reform fund of the central budget, local budgets and a part arranged in the State budget balance expenditure estimate).

The National Assembly also assigned the Government to consider and decide on the allocation from the central budget reserve in 2023 in accordance with the provisions of law to continue implementation, soon complete and put into operation.using Nam Mo River embankment project, section through block 4, block 5, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

* During the working program in the United States, on the morning of November 9 (local time),Nghe An province working delegationhad a working session with the US-ASEAN Business Council.

At the meeting, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung introduced the general geographical location, natural conditions, potentials, strengths of Nghe An in attracting investment and the province's support policies, the province's needs in attracting investment. Currently, Nghe An province has prepared the most favorable conditions in terms of planning, essential infrastructure, investment premises, human resources and administrative procedure support for investors when coming to learn about and invest in Nghe An.
