*COn the afternoon of December 11th, in Vinh City, Nghe An province, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Member of the Political Bureau, President of the Republic of Vietnam - visited.Visiting and working at the Headquarters of Military Region 4In commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2021).

Regarding the province's development orientation in the coming period, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested that Nghe An effectively implement the dual goals of preventing and controlling the epidemic, ensuring the health and lives of the people. He also called for the recovery and development of socio-economic activities, especially the restoration of consumption, exports, and goods supply. He emphasized identifying the marine and coastal economy, seaports, and marine tourism as key development priorities.

*SOn December 11th, at the headquarters of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh presided over the meeting.Online briefing conferencewith 13 provinces and cities regarding the implementation status of the North-South East Expressway construction investment project, phase 2017-2020.

The project to construct several sections of the North-South East Expressway in the 2017-2020 period comprises 11 component projects, including 8 public investment projects and 3 projects under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. According to the schedule, the majority of projects in Phase 1 are expected to be completed within two years (2022-2023). To date, all 11/11 component projects have commenced construction; the completed volume from October 20, 2021 to the present is approximately VND 2,845.58 billion, equivalent to 4.7%.

*LIVEIn another development, on December 11th, the leaders of the Nghe An Department of Health stated that, to date...The entire province has administered more than 3.7 million doses.COVID-19 vaccine. Of these, 1,427,030 people have received all the basic doses (accounting for 73% of people aged 18 and over and 43% of the population of Nghe An province). The number of people who have received at least one dose is 1,923,527 (accounting for 98% of people aged 18 and over and 58% of the population of Nghe An province).

For children aged 12-17, 120,371 have been vaccinated to date, representing 38% of children in that age group. During post-vaccination monitoring, health authorities recorded 10 children experiencing mild reactions.
