Nghe An: Highlights of September 15th
The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) chaired the 13th annual international conference; the opening of a training course on Party inspection, supervision and discipline; and the Provincial People's Committee listened to and commented on the draft plan for the development of the western region of Nghe An province until 2030... These are some of the highlights of the day.
* In Nghe An, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), in collaboration with the Lao National Institute of Economic and Social Sciences (LASES) and the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC), organized the 13th annual international conference on the theme "Connecting Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia's Strategic Infrastructure in the New Context".
* The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission inaugurated the second training course on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline; and the digital transformation of the Party inspection sector in 2026. Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee and Chairperson of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission - attended and delivered the opening speech.

* The Provincial People's Committee held a working session to hear and give opinions on the draft Resolution and Project of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of the western region of Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045. Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - chaired the working session.
* The Government Office organized a conference to disseminate, thoroughly understand, and implement Decision No. 1425/QD-TTg dated July 29, 2026, of the Prime Minister on the promulgation of the national digital master architecture framework (version 1.0). Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presided over the conference at the Nghe An branch.
*The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a conference to disseminate and implement Directive No. 23-CT/TU, Project No. 18-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Plan for implementing the Project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Due to the influence of the tropical depression, Nghe An province has experienced prolonged heavy rain in recent days, causing flooding, landslides, and localized traffic disruptions. Given the complex situation, local authorities are urgently implementing response plans, deploying forces at critical points, and warning residents in dangerous areas.
