Nghe An: Highlights of July 16th

* On the morning of July 16th,The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a conference.The conference focused on studying, understanding, and disseminating Resolution No. 08-NQ/TU dated May 14, 2026, of the Provincial Party Committee on building and improving the quality of cadres and civil servants at the commune and ward levels in Nghe An province for the period 2026-2030, as well as other new documents from the Provincial Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, chaired the conference.

* To expedite compensation and land clearance for projects in the province, on the afternoon of July 16th,The Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a thematic conference.Regarding this matter, the meeting was attended by representatives from various sectors, investors, and 40 communes and wards currently implementing projects. The meeting was co-chaired by: Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Nghia Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

* On the afternoon of July 16th, the Central Organizing Committee held an event.Conference on exchange of views
Advising on the amendment and supplementation of Regulation No. 366-QĐ/TWOn August 30, 2025, the Politburo held a meeting on reviewing, evaluating, and classifying the quality of collectives and individuals within the political system. Comrade Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department, presided over the meeting at the central location. Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presided over the meeting at the Nghe An location.

* To commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, on the morning of July 16th,Central delegation of the Vietnam Veterans AssociationLed by Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association, activities included offering incense, paying tribute to heroic martyrs, and presenting gifts to families of policy beneficiaries in the province.

* On the afternoon of July 15th, the CommitteeVietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An ProvinceThe 10th conference, for the term 2022-2027, aims to evaluate the results of the first six months of the year and implement the patriotic emulation movement among Catholic compatriots for the last six months of 2026, while also preparing for the Congress of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province for the term 2027-2032.

* On the morning of July 16th, the Command of Naval Region 1, in coordination with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Loc commune, organized...Inauguration and handover ceremony of the Solidarity House.This is for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai, Truong Thinh hamlet, Dong Loc commune - a household with particularly difficult housing circumstances.

* On the morning of July 16th, at the Muong Tip Commune Health Station, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Department of Health, organized an activity.Free medical examination, health consultation, and medication distribution.and give gifts to the local people.

* On the afternoon of July 16th, Vinh University, in collaboration with the British Embassy in Vietnam, organized an event.Program to raise awareness about preventing and combating human trafficking.and illegal immigration for students in 2026.
