*On the morning of February 17th,Prime Minister Pham Minh ChinhHe chaired the national online conference on removing obstacles and promoting the safe, healthy, and sustainable development of the real estate market.

At the conference, the Prime Minister highlighted several prominent issues in the real estate market. These included an imbalance between supply and demand, an over-concentration on high-end segments while neglecting the middle and low-income segments; unreasonable prices that do not match average per capita income; slow policy responses from relevant stakeholders (regulatory agencies, businesses, banks); legal obstacles; difficulties in accessing capital (credit, bonds, and other sources); slow planning and restructuring of projects; reluctance to take responsibility and action by officials in some areas and at some times; and businesses lacking flexibility and the ability to promptly address self-inflicted problems.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - warmly welcomed the group to survey investment opportunities in Nghe An; and at the same time, introduced the natural conditions and people of Nghe An - a miniature Vietnam and the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh, which has been granted special mechanisms and policies by the Central Government for investment and development. Currently, many leading infrastructure investors and businesses such as VSIP, WHA, and Hoang Thinh Dat are investing and doing business in the area.

During the meeting, representatives from infrastructure investors VSIP, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An, and Hoang Thinh Dat introduced the infrastructure of their industrial parks for the electronics component manufacturing group to review. Following this, the leaders of Nghe An province also discussed and answered several related questions.

The electronics component manufacturing group, a partner of Goertek Vina, is headquartered in Jiangsu Province (China) and was established in 1980. It is a leading global technology partner, specializing in providing critical electronic components for smart technologies, particularly telecommunications equipment, precision metals, LED technology, and connectivity solutions. Currently, the group has large facilities in many countries. If all goes well, the group will lease approximately 20 hectares of land and plans to begin construction in 2023.

For the railway, a new transfer station combined with an inland depot (ICD) and logistics center will be built in Nghi Yen commune at the intersection of D4 road and National Highway 1A.

An ICD (Inland Container Depot) is a dry port, inland port, or simply a depot. An inland port is a component of transportation infrastructure, serving as a hub for organizing containerized cargo transport, closely linked to the operations of seaports, international airports, land border crossings, and international railways.

*The Department of Education and Training has recently sent a document to the Education and Training Departments and affiliated units regarding the issue of exploiting the organization of teaching and educational activities outside of school to simultaneously...Take students on sightseeing trips.

In recent days, several schools in the province have planned field trips for their students, receiving mixed reactions during the planning process.

In response to this situation, today (February 17th), the Department of Education and Training issued document No. 305/SGD&ĐT-VP regarding the rectification of educational institutions that exploit extracurricular teaching and educational activities to take students on mass field trips. The document also clarifies that taking students on field trips may not guarantee safety and could negatively impact their learning.

*Also related to the field of education and training, the Department of Education and Training has justAnnouncing the results of the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for 9th Gradeacademic year 2022 - 2023. Accordingly, in this year's exam, the entire province has 1,285 candidates participating in both bảng A and B ( bảng B is reserved for candidates from 5 high-mountain districts: Con Cuông, Tương Dương, Quỳ Châu, Quế Phong, and Kỳ Sơn).

As a result, 39 students won first prize in 11 subjects, 149 students won second prize, 245 students won third prize, and 349 students received honorable mentions. According to these results, Vinh City achieved the highest results in this year's competition.

At the workshop on implementing the project to promote waste management and combat greenhouse gas emissions in Vinh City on February 17th, representatives from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment assessed the environmental situation in Nghe An province comprehensively. They stated that the environmental monitoring program in Nghe An province is being implemented at 23 locations. These locations include tourist areas; mining and factory areas; the outskirts of industrial parks and clusters; the outskirts of landfills, traffic intersections, urban areas, and one automatic gas monitoring station in Vinh City.
