At the conference, the Prime Minister highlighted several prominent issues in the real estate market. These included an imbalance between supply and demand, an over-concentration on high-end segments while neglecting the middle and low-income segments; unreasonable prices that do not match average per capita income; slow policy responses from relevant stakeholders (regulatory agencies, businesses, banks); legal obstacles; difficulties in accessing capital (credit, bonds, and other sources); slow planning and restructuring of projects; reluctance to take responsibility and action by officials in some areas and at some times; and businesses lacking flexibility and the ability to promptly address self-inflicted problems.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - warmly welcomed the group to survey investment opportunities in Nghe An; and at the same time, introduced the natural conditions and people of Nghe An - a miniature Vietnam and the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh, which has been granted special mechanisms and policies by the Central Government for investment and development. Currently, many leading infrastructure investors and businesses such as VSIP, WHA, and Hoang Thinh Dat are investing and doing business in the area.

During the meeting, representatives from infrastructure investors VSIP, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An, and Hoang Thinh Dat introduced the infrastructure of their industrial parks for the electronics component manufacturing group to review. The electronics component manufacturing group, a partner of Goertek Vina, is headquartered in Jiangsu Province (China) and was established in 1980. It is a leading global technology partner, specializing in providing critical electronic components for smart technologies, particularly telecommunications equipment, precision metals, LED technology, and connectivity solutions. Currently, the group has large facilities in many countries. If all goes well, the group will lease approximately 20 hectares of land and plans to begin construction in 2023.
