(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An province has implemented Covid-19 prevention and control measures decisively, seriously, and comprehensively; the Nghe An Education Department warns about mobile food vendors in front of schools; the re-encroachment on traffic safety corridors is widespread; and there are suspicions that someone dumped pesticides into a fish pond… These are some of the prominent news items on March 17th.

*TAt the online meeting between the Standing Committee of the Government and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control and 63 provinces and cities, the meeting assessed the results of the past period of epidemic prevention and control work and discussed major solutions for effective epidemic prevention and control in the coming period.Nghe An is considered to have implemented the plan decisively.The province is seriously and fully implementing the directives of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee, and the Ministry of Health, in the spirit of avoiding complacency, negligence, and a lack of vigilance. The province is also focusing on achieving a "dual objective": effectively preventing and controlling the epidemic while simultaneously developing the economy and ensuring social welfare.
