Nghe An: Highlights of November 18th

* On the morning of November 18th, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with Nghe An province.organize a seminar"Potential, advantages and strategic directions for socio-economic development in Western Nghe An."

At the seminar, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy, former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics, Deputy Head of the Socio-Economic Advisory Group of Nghe An province Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, Hero of Labor during the Renovation Period, Founder and Chairman of the Strategic Council of TH Thai Huong Group, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen - National Coordinator of the Global Environment Fund's Small Projects Program under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) exchanged and provided more specific perspectives on the current situation, potential, advantages, and difficulties in the development of the region; factors affecting development, and suggested both comprehensive and specific solutions to provide a clearer direction for the development of Western Nghe An.

* At the seminar "Strategic Orientation for Socio-Economic Development of Western Nghe An" held on the morning of November 18th in Hanoi,Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh QuyIt was emphasized that it is necessary to clearly identify the potential, advantages, as well as challenges and obstacles in order to guide the development of western Nghe An province.

* On the afternoon of November 18th, to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023),Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu– The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee joined the people of Block 16, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City in celebrating.

In the joyful, vibrant, and solidarity-filled atmosphere of the festival, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu presented gifts to Block 16, Ha Huy Tap Ward, and awarded gifts to households in difficult circumstances; Block 16 also presented awards to branches, political and social organizations, and families with outstanding achievements in emulation movements.

* Around 9:00 AM on November 18th, at a factory belonging to Green Service Joint Stock Company, located in Zone C, Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district.A fire occurred..

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Teams quickly deployed personnel and equipment to extinguish the fire. The fire has now been brought under control, and the risk of it spreading to neighboring areas has been prevented. There were no casualties. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
