Nghe An: Highlights of June 19th
(Baonghean.vn) - Urgency and intensity... these are the feelings of the public and people on June 19th, the first day Vinh City implemented Directive 16 of the Prime Minister to proactively prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. By the afternoon of June 19th, Nghe An had recorded its 26th positive case. In this situation, through various solutions, functional agencies focused their efforts on isolating and suppressing the epidemic while ensuring the stability of the supply of goods to meet the needs of the people during the social distancing period.
*SOn June 19th, Associate Professor Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, and Director of the Nghe An Department of Health, stated:Nghe An province has detected 4 new cases of infection.
Of these, 3 cases are in Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city; and 1 case is in Minh Chau commune, Dien Chau district. All 4 cases had been isolated beforehand.
By 5 PM on June 19th, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Nghe An province, stated: Nghe AnThere are 2 more cases of Covid-19 infection.new.
Thus, from June 13th to the afternoon of June 19th, Nghe An province had 26 Covid-19 patients, including 16 in Vinh City, 8 in Dien Chau district, 1 in Tan Ky district, and 1 in Quy Hop district.

*TIn the context of three clusters of Covid-19 with an unknown source of infection, and to urgently contain and suppress the outbreak, on the evening of June 18th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province decided to implement social distancing in Vinh city according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister. Immediately afterwards, the People's Committee of Vinh city issued Notice No. 263/TB-UBND regarding registration for rapid Covid-19 testing for all citizens.
These policies were approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee through Notice No. 287-TB/TU.COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
