Nghe An: Highlights on July 20

*SJuly 20,1st session, 15th National AssemblyThe working program began in the form of a concentrated meeting at the National Assembly House. *SOn July 20, the People's Committee of Nghe An province sent a document to Ho Chi Minh City regarding support and creating favorable conditions for citizens of Nghe An province living and working in this city. "People's CommitteeNghe An province is ready to create favorable conditions to support Nghe An citizens who are working, living and studying to return to their hometown.(if needed), and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has been assigned to directly coordinate the implementation of welcoming citizens back home," the document of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee stated.

*CatLa Ngan and Luu Tien villages, Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son), people are facing many difficulties.when the Covid-19 pandemic was raging. In just 3 days, the border district of Ky Son had 6 infected cases with 91 F1 and 211 F2. The Ky Son district government is making every effort to control the epidemic. The poor people here are in dire need of community support.

*CIn Lach Quen fishing port, Quynh Luu district, these days, dozens of large-capacity fishing boats arrive at the port every day, along with the bustling scene of buying and selling seafood. Fishermen catch mainly squid, mackerel, anchovies... The catch is not as much as in previous seasons, but there are some seafood of high value.

*SOn July 20, the People's Court of Nghe An province opened a first-instance criminal trial of defendant Nguyen Van Lam, born on July 25, 1970; native place: Nam Dan district; permanent residence: Vinh Yen block, Dong Vinh ward (Vinh city). Lam was tried for the crime of "Making, storing, disseminating or propagating information and documents aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as prescribed in Article 117 of the Penal Code.
