* On the morning of September 20th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized...Ceremony for awarding the Investment Registration Certificate for the project.We invested in the new Sunny Automotive Optics Vina facility and witnessed the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between WHA Group and Sunny Group and its suppliers at WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An.
The project specializes in the production, processing, and assembly of camera modules, displays, smart vehicle lights, smart lighting, projection modules, and mold processing, photovoltaic assembly and testing equipment, glass lenses, and plastic lenses.
The total investment for the project is US$150 million, covering an area of 42.8 hectares in WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An (Phase 2). The project's designed capacity includes approximately 60 million automotive cameras per year; 5 million other products per year; and approximately 370,000 m² of office and factory space for lease.2The project is expected to be completed and officially operational by the fourth quarter of 2025, employing approximately 20,000 workers.

During the monitoring session, members and relevant departments of the province and Quy Chau district focused on discussing the conversion of forest land use, reforestation, and the progress of implementing the resettlement area for households affected by the project.
