*SOn January 21st, at WHA Industrial Zone 1 in Nghe An province, the following event took place.groundbreaking ceremony for the factory projectManufacturing electronic products, network equipment and devices, and multimedia audio products.

The factory's designed capacity is over 381 million products per year, including electronics, network equipment, and multimedia audio products. It is expected that by June 2021, the factory will have completed the installation of machinery and equipment and officially begin operations, creating jobs for approximately 30,000 workers.

*SOn January 21st, the Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue in Nghe An province held a meeting to assess the situation, results of activities in 2020, and key tasks for 2021. According to statistics, there are currently several fire incidents occurring in Nghe An province.Over 4,000 facilities pose a fire and explosion hazard.The province will soon establish a team to inspect compliance with fire safety regulations.

*SOn January 21st, the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor organized...Mid-term review conferenceImplementing the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 18th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, term 2018-2023.

On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Emulation Flag to 4 collectives and presented Certificates of Merit to 79 collectives and individuals. The Provincial Labor Federation also awarded the Emulation Flag to 6 collectives for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for excellent labor and building strong trade union organizations in 2020. In addition, 3 outstanding units in trade union activities also received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation.

*VThe largest quarry on the Nghe An border.Ready for TetTri Le, a border commune in Que Phong district, is considered a major peach-growing area in Nghe An province. Tens of thousands of peach trees, planted by the Mong ethnic group, not only create a beautiful landscape in this remote border region but also provide a livelihood for the local people.

*7elementary school studentsemergency hospitalizationAfter eating bread at the school gate, the Que Phong District Health Center received and provided emergency treatment to 7 students from Tien Phong 1 Primary School.

All the children exhibited severe abdominal pain, suspected to be food poisoning. After examination and emergency treatment, their health stabilized. Initial information also indicated that they had eaten bread at a shop near the school.

*NOn January 21st, the People's Court of Nghe An province held a first-instance criminal trial.trial of defendant Chu Van Sang(Born in 1966), residing in Hung Dong commune, Vinh City, was charged with "Murder". The victim in the case was Sang's ex-wife.

Knowing his ex-wife had recently sold some land, Sang asked for money to spend, but she refused. The husband then bought rat poison and put it in a pot of chicken stew with the intention of killing his ex-wife, but she discovered it in time and reported it to the police. The court sentenced Chu Van Sang to 8 years in prison for "murder".
