Nghe An: Highlights of July 21st

* On the morning of July 21st, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2023), a delegation from the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly laid wreaths.Offering incense at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site., Nam Dan and Truong Bon National Historical Site.

The delegation was led by Comrade Le Quang Manh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to soldiers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and the families of martyrs. Every year, on July 27th, he would personally send letters, give gifts, visit wounded soldiers and families of martyrs, and pay respects to the heroic martyrs at the cemetery.

Following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings and the consistent policy of "ensuring that no meritorious person is deprived of the Party and State's policies," the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly has always paid attention to and made important contributions in advising the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on policies and resources to serve the work of showing gratitude to those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution.

* On the afternoon of July 21st, in Nghe An, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) organized...Conference of Directors of Departments of Education and Training 2023.

The conference was organized to assess the implementation of tasks for the 2022-2023 school year in preschool education, general education, and continuing education; and based on that, to agree on proposed directions and orientations for the 2023-2024 school year.

At the places he visited, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong cordially inquired about and encouraged wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and meritorious individuals; sharing in the difficulties, hardships, and disadvantages faced by wounded and sick soldiers. He expressed his deep emotion and gratitude for the contributions of wounded and sick soldiers, those who dedicated and sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

* On July 21st, in Vinh City,The Central Committee for Emulation and Commendation organized the Conference.Evaluating the implementation of the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" in 2023.

The leaders of the Central Emulation and Commendation Board suggested that in the coming period, localities should launch practical and effective emulation movements that are appropriate to the realities of each locality. Attention should be paid to identifying, commending, and rewarding promptly and appropriately, especially focusing on farmers and direct laborers.

* On the morning of July 21, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council held a meeting.Conference on exchanging operational experienceswith the Standing Committee of the District People's Council, Cluster 1, 3rd meeting, term 2021-2023.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, in addition to highly appreciating the quality of the discussions, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - also emphasized: To continue to effectively perform the functions and duties of the elected body, he requested the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the committees, the delegate groups, and the People's Council delegates at all levels in the province to closely follow the 2023 work program of the Party committees and governments at all levels to coordinate and urge the overcoming of difficulties and limitations, and to achieve the highest possible level of the socio-economic development goals and targets for 2023.

* On the morning of July 21st, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Member of the National Assembly - visitedPresenting gifts from the National Assembly's Ethnic Council to Cao Duy Thông., a member of the Tho ethnic group in Lang Cao village, Nghia Mai commune, Nghia Dan district (a student at Co Do High School).

It is known that in the 2023 Nghe An Provincial High School Graduation Examination, Cao Duy Thong was both the candidate with the highest score in the Social Sciences subject combination and the top scorer of the province with a total score of 56.65, including: Civic Education: 10, Foreign Language: 10, Literature: 9.5; History: 9.5; Geography: 9.25 and Mathematics: 8.4. Prior to that, Thong had taken the IELTS exam and achieved a score of 8.0.
