Opening the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that Vietnam consistently and affirms its view that the foreign-invested economy is an important component of the economy, encouraged and facilitated for long-term development, cooperation and healthy competition with other economic sectors.

At the Conference, ministries, branches, localities and the foreign investment business community assessed the impact of the world and domestic economic situation on the investment wave and business production activities of enterprises; identified opportunities, challenges and difficulties to have proactive solutions and policies to adapt to remove obstacles and promptly seize investment cooperation opportunities in the new situation.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries, branches and localities, based on their functions, tasks, powers, spirit and responsibilities, to proactively and promptly resolve difficulties raised by foreign investors in the fastest, most timely and most effective manner.

The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam creates all conditions to create a favorable, safe, transparent, and highly competitive environment for foreign investors to confidently invest long-term in Vietnam with the spirit of "equality, mutual development, mutual benefit, and responsibility to society, workers, and environmental protection; ensuring harmonious benefits and shared risks; continuing to strongly reform administrative procedures".

*On April 22, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023), towards the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the delegation of Dong Nai province returned to...Offering flowers and incense at Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan, Nghe An.

The delegation was led by comrade Nguyen Hong Linh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee.

In the sacred atmosphere, the leaders of Dong Nai and Nghe An provinces respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

*Next, the working delegation of the Government's Ethnic Committee and Dong Nai province worked with the leaders of Nghe An province.3 billion VND awarded to support house buildingfor poor ethnic minorities and 1 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.

At the meeting, after listening to the leaders of Nghe An province report on some socio-economic situations, Comrade Hau A Lenh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Government Committee for Ethnic Minorities expressed his joy at the results achieved by the province in recent times; including the work of caring for ethnic minorities and border areas.

Referring to the support program of Dong Nai province for 8 northern provinces, including Nghe An province, implemented by the Government's Ethnic Committee, comrade Hau A Lenh respectfully thanked Dong Nai province for its noble gesture towards ethnic minorities.

Referring to the program to support ethnic minorities that Dong Nai province coordinated with the Government's Ethnic Committee to implement in some northern provinces, including Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Hong Linh shared that although the gift was not large, it showed the sentiments of the Party Committee and the people of Dong Nai sharing the difficulties of poor ethnic minorities in Nghe An, thereby continuing to strengthen the close and deeper ties between the two provinces.

*Starting today (April 22), Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir will be operational.ensure total dischargeaverage not less than 200 m3/s, to raise the water level of Lam River, ensuring that pumping stations can pump water into the fields, serving drought prevention and production in the 2023 Spring crop. From April 22 to April 26, 2023, every day, Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir will increase the discharge flow from 65m3/s up to 200m3/S.

According to the above water regulation and operation plan, by the end of April 26, the water level of Ban Ve hydropower reservoir will be only about 170m, about 13m lower than the minimum water level. This means that the Company is facing many difficulties in operating downstream water supply and power generation in the coming time.
