Nghe An: Highlights on January 24

*SOn the morning of January 24, at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site, Nam Dan District, the Management Board of the relic site, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Giang Commune and representatives of the Nguyen Sinh, Hoang Xuan and Ha families held a ceremony.held the 121st anniversary of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan's death.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission attended the ceremony and respectfully offered incense in memory of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan.

Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan was born in the year of Mau Thin (1868) in Hoang Tru village, Chung Cu commune, Lam Thinh commune, Nam Duong district, Nghe An province (now Hoang Tru village, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province). She was born and raised in a Confucian family, but everyone directly participated in labor.

In 1883, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan married Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac. They had three children, the third of whom was Nguyen Sinh Cung, who later became President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Vietnamese people.

The life of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan is a shining example of simplicity, modesty, great sacrifice, compassion, tolerance, simple and noble lifestyle, and love of work. That is clearly reflected in the lives of her children later on, and most notably in President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of national liberation, outstanding cultural celebrity.

*SOn the morning of January 24, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visitedvisit and wish Tet to compatriots and soldiersin Con Cuong district.

Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy and his delegation visited and wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Mon Son Border Post. The unit is responsible for protecting and managing 36.5 km of national border with Laos and 7 border markers.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy also worked with Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district; visited and wished a happy new year to some policy families in the area. In addition, the Provincial Party Secretary presented 2,000 gifts worth 1 billion VND to Con Cuong district and 100 gifts worth 50 million VND to Mon Son commune from the Nghe An Province Fund for the Poor; presented 200 million VND from socialized sources for Con Cuong district to take care of the poor during Tet.

*TContinuing to inform about the developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, on the morning of January 24, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Nghe An said: In 12 hours (from 6:00 p.m. on January 23, 2022 to 6:00 a.m. on January 24, 2022), Nghe An recorded141 new positive caseswith Covid-19 in 13 localities.

*DRelated developments in recent days in Nghe An2 Covid-19 outbreaks appearedrelatively complicated at 2 garment factories, including ABC Thanh Tien Garment Company, Thanh Chuong district and Nam Thuan Garment Company, Dien Chau district with nearly 300 F0.

Faced with a large number of F0 and F1 cases, Thanh Chuong district also directed the entire ABC Thanh Tien Company to temporarily suspend production, closely monitor the health of workers, and conduct periodic testing during the temporary break. Only when the epidemic situation is under control will the company be allowed to resume operations.

Dien Chau district has taken F0s to treatment facilities, quarantined F1s according to regulations, and assigned localities to supervise workers' home quarantine. It is known that the district has directed the collection of samples for testing of all workers of the company, a total of over 1,500 people.

With the viewpoint that wherever the epidemic appears, it must be contained, Dien Chau district still allows the company to operate and must ensure the requirements for epidemic prevention and control. In particular, in departments where F0 has appeared and there is a high risk, operations will be temporarily suspended until further notice.

*NwaitLatest notice to passengers at the airportwhen going home for Tet

Accordingly, from January 22, 2022, only passengers residing or staying before the flight or departing from an airport in an area with a level 4 epidemic or a medical isolation (lockdown) area must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result valid within 72 hours from the time of sample collection to before the flight departure time.

The new guidance removes the requirement for children under 12 to be tested for Covid-19 when flying.
