The goal of the Provincial People's Committee is that by 2025: the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR index), the Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI), the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) will be in the top 15; the Readiness Index for IT Development and Application (ICT-index) will be in the top 10 provinces and cities nationwide. In the 2026-2030 period, the rankings of the indexes will be increased compared to 2025.

Rain caused landslides in some areas in Muong Long, Ta Ca, Bao Thang communes (Ky Son), many public works and residential areas were damaged due to rain and rock overflow.

In Con Cuong district, heavy rain caused Khe Moi spillway bridge in Luc Da commune to be deeply flooded and cut off.
