* At the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Nghe An Province held the official opening session.The 4th Congress of Buddhist Delegates of Nghe An Province, term 2026 - 2031. Attending the congress were members of the Central Committee of the Party: Thai Thanh Quy - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.
*Leaders of Nghe An province received and held a working meeting with a delegation from the capital city of Vientiane (Lao People's Democratic Republic).The delegation was led by Comrade Athsaphangthong Siphandone - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Vientiane Capital, during his visit and working trip to Nghe An.
* Under the chairmanship of Comrade Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee,The People's Committee of Nghe An province held its regular meeting.The meeting, scheduled for June 2026, will assess the socio-economic development situation in the first six months of the year and discuss key tasks and solutions for the remaining six months. The session will be connected online to 130 communes and wards throughout the province.
*National Steering Committee on the Search, Collection and Identification of the Remains of Fallen SoldiersAn online conference was held to review the first six months of the year and implement tasks for the last six months of 2026. Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the meeting at the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee's location.
* The Government Office organizes a national conference onchild protection workIn 2026, the conference was held online, connecting localities nationwide. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairwoman of the National Committee for Children, presided over the conference. At the Nghe An branch, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Children's Affairs, chaired the meeting.

* On June 25th, the Security Investigation Agency of the Nghe An Provincial Police issued a decision.Initiating criminal proceedings; indicting the suspect, executing the arrest warrant for the suspect.To temporarily detain Le Thi Thuy, residing in Vin hamlet, Tan Chau commune, on charges of "Abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals" as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 331 of the Penal Code.
Nghe An province has a large forest area and frequently faces the risk of forest fires during the hot season. However, in many communes,The firebreak system is still lacking.or are completely covered by vegetation. This situation makes it difficult to identify, control, and extinguish forest fires when incidents occur.
