Through this conference, ministries, agencies, and leaders of provinces sharing a common border discussed and evaluated results, and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of addressing issues of illegal migration and unregistered marriages between people on both sides of the border.

*In the last days of August, while students across the country were busy preparing for the start of the new school year, in Lang Son commune (Anh Son district),Many children are at risk of not being able to attend school.Because the parents objected to the school's enrollment. Meanwhile, the merger of Lang Son Secondary School with Khai Son Secondary School had already been underway for four years. Ninth-grade students from Lang Son commune have already transferred to the new school, Khai Lang Secondary School (located in Khai Son commune), and have been studying there steadily since 2018.

According to the leaders of Lang Son commune, recently, many parents have declared that they will not allow their 9th-grade students to continue attending school in protest against the merger. This not only affects the school's preparations for the new school year but also impacts the rights of the students.

Speaking with a reporter from Nghe An Newspaper, Mr. Le Dinh Ha, Principal of Khai Lang Secondary School, stated that the merger while maintaining two separate school locations creates difficulties in teacher allocation. During some school days, a single teacher has to travel between both locations, which is very tiring. For the merged grades, students only move to one school location in grade 9, requiring a redistribution of class sizes and time for adjustment and stabilization. Meanwhile, this is a crucial school year, requiring increased teaching to prepare for the grade 10 entrance exam.

Currently, Anh Son district and relevant agencies are making efforts to address this issue.
