Nghe An is one of the localities frequently affected by flash floods, landslides, and mudslides during storms, with many areas severely impacted and requiring urgent relocation. This reality highlights the urgent need to develop resettlement projects in high-risk areas to ensure the safety of residents. However, many emergency relocation projects have been progressing too slowly, causing frustration among the people.

*DAlthough not the eye of the storm, the southern Nghe An area will experience very heavy rain when Typhoon No. 9 makes landfall, therefore,small traders at Vinh Market- In the areas most severely affected by flooding in Vinh City, people had moved their goods back home and stopped selling goods before the storm hit.
