Nghe An: Highlights of March 28th

*COn the afternoon of March 28th, after two days of implementation, the nationwide online conference to study and understand the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party concluded. Following this conference, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda Department - requested that provincial and city Party committees, and Party committees directly under the Central Committee, based on a thorough understanding of the core viewpoints, contents, and new policies in the documents of the 13th National Congress that have been disseminated by Party and State leaders, organize conferences to study and understand the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party for cadres and Party members who did not participate in the conference organized by the Central Secretariat of the Party. The conferences should be completed in the second quarter of 2021.

*TBefore that, in the morning,Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc- Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister, delivered a presentation on the topic: The 10-year socio-economic development strategy (2021-2030) and directions and tasks for the next 5 years (2021-2025).

Later that afternoon, the conference focused on two important issues: strengthening national defense and security capabilities, building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and progressively modern People's Army and People's Police; and resolutely and persistently defending the independence, sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, seas, islands, and airspace; and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for national development.

*NOn March 28th, Nghe An Online Newspaper published an article titled: "The perseverance of a Hmong student."For five consecutive years, he went to school using only his hands.That's Mùa Bá Tểnh, a 5th-grade student at Na Ngoi 2 Primary School (Kỳ Sơn district).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a teacher at Mua Ba Thenh school, shared: "Despite her disability, she is always a shining example of perseverance and academic achievement for her classmates to emulate."

*CThe National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2020-2021 academic year was held in Thua Thien Hue province with the participation of 69 units from Departments of Education and Training, high schools affiliated with universities nationwide.

This year marks the 5th year that Vinh University High School for Gifted Students has participated in this competition with two projects in the fields of embedded systems and robotics/intelligent machines, carried out by 11th-grade students specializing in Informatics. *TAs of March 28th, Que Phong district has recorded...African swine fever outbreak recurs.At 23 livestock farms in 4 communes: Tien Phong, Muong Ngoc, Tri Le, and Thong Thu. A total of 111 pigs, weighing 4,814 kg, have been culled to date.

Given the complex developments of African swine fever, the People's Committee of Que Phong district has also issued a decision to declare an outbreak in the affected communes, aiming to ensure control and prevent the disease from spreading widely. At the same time, it has warned neighboring communes to take effective preventive measures.

*SOn March 28th, in Vinh City, Nghe An Publishing House, in collaboration with Nghe An Library and Nghe An Culture and Education Joint Stock Company, organized an event.Book launch ceremony"The hidden side of football in Nghe An province".

This book is a collection of articles by two authors: Le Giap, who works at the Life & Law Magazine, and Van Trung, a contributor to Nghe An Newspaper. The collaboration of these two writers in "The Hidden Corners of Nghe An Football" has given readers a comprehensive overview of Nghe An football in general, and Song Lam Nghe An Club in particular.
