Nghe An: Highlights of March 28th

*On the morning of March 28th, in Vinh City,Comrade Thai Thanh Quy- Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An Province received Ms. Michelle Bachelet, former President of Chile, who is currently on a visit to Nghe An.

Previously,delegation of former President of ChileThey visited the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan) to lay flowers and offer incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh.

*On March 28th,The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held its regular meeting.In March 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed to submit to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly a plan to expand the administrative boundaries of Vinh City in March 2024; and agreed to adjust the investment policy for the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Zone project.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also listened to and commented on several other important issues: the proposal to recognize Do Luong town, Do Luong district, Nghe An province as meeting the criteria for a type IV urban area; the draft Nghe An Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2035;…
