Noting that 2023 is identified as the year of building national data, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to focus on building data for their ministries, branches and localities to serve digital transformation well, contributing to administrative reform - one of the key tasks in building a socialist rule-of-law state.

*SFebruary 3, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee,Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee works with leaders of the World Bank(WB) in Vietnam on the progress of the implementation of the Project "Priority infrastructure and urban development adapting to climate change in Vinh city, Nghe An province" with WB loan.

The project “Priority infrastructure and urban development adapting to climate change in Vinh city, Nghe An province” includes 4 components: Component 1 integrates investment in drainage, environmental sanitation and connectivity; Component 2 expands storage capacity to reduce urban flooding; Component 3 improves Vinh river; Component 4 develops systems and capacity to improve urban adaptation; with a total investment of 194.5 million USD, of which the proposed funding capital from the WB is 129.6 million USD.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung thanked the WB leaders for their attention to the province in general, as well as the proposed project.

Ms. Carolyn Turk - Country Director of the World Bank in Vietnam highly appreciated the province's determination in accessing WB capital to implement the project; at the same time, she said that the WB agency in Vietnam is ready to support Nghe An in the process of completing the documents to submit to the Ministry of Finance; as well as inform the WB headquarters in Washington DC, USA about the province's progress in implementing the project documents.
