Nghe An: Highlights on May 3

That is, the authorities were tracing a number of F1 cases of those who tested positive for nCoV2; asking people to make medical declarations after having been to places where people were infected with Covid-19. In addition, the event that attracted public attention was the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province visiting and encouraging the family of a male student who drowned while saving his friend.
*SOn the morning of May 3, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led the provincial working delegation toVisit, encourage and express condolences to Nguyen Van Nha's family(Born in 1998, residing in Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu district).
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, on behalf of the provincial leaders, sent his deepest condolences to Nguyen Van Nha's family. Nha's selfless act of saving a drowning person is a brave act that deserves to be commended.
As reported, on the afternoon of April 30, while swimming at the beach in Phu Thuan commune (Phu Vang district, Thua Thien - Hue province), Nguyen Van Nha (a 4th year student at the University of Science - Hue University) discovered 3 female friends being swept away by waves from the shore, so he swam out to rescue them. After saving the 3 female friends, Nha was exhausted and was swept away by the waves, causing his death.

*TAt the 20th session, the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVII,unanimously approved the project implementation policy“Priority infrastructure and urban development adapting to climate change in Vinh city, Nghe An province”.
The project has a total estimated investment of 4,514 billion VND, equivalent to 195 million USD. Of which, the World Bank loan is 130 million USD, domestic counterpart capital is 65 million USD. The project is divided into 4 components. The project implementation period is 6 years (2022 - 2027).

*Tduring the 4-day holiday,Nghe An welcomes nearly 250,000 tourists, of which about 120,000 guests stayed, revenue from tourism services is estimated at more than 150 billion VND. To serve guests safely, destinations in Nghe An have strictly implemented the "5K" recommendations of the Ministry of Health.

*TOn May 3, the information that attracted the most attention from the public was still the developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, people expressed concern about the outbreak and spread of the disease in the context of the whole country having just experienced a 4-day holiday.
Faced with that situation, the Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee issued urgent Official Dispatch No. 2330/UBND-YT. The Official Dispatch requested all people to return to Vinh from provinces and cities across the country after the April 30 and May 1 holidays.mandatory health declarationat the ward or commune health stations where they are staying. Those who have symptoms of fever, cough, difficulty breathing or other suspected symptoms of Covid-19 infection should immediately go to the nearest medical facility or ward or commune health station for timely guidance and treatment according to regulations.

*LRegarding the tracing of the case of a Chinese expert who tested positive for Covid-19, authorities determined that,There is a female interpreter working at VSIP Nghe An who is F1.of the above Chinese expert. This F1 was on the same flight with the Chinese expert from Hanoi to Da Nang. The female interpreter currently resides in Khoa Da hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
Hung Nguyen District Medical Center took a sample of the female interpreter and sent it to Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control for testing. The first test result showed negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

*CThe Nghe An Provincial Police Investigation Agency has issued a decision.initiate criminal proceedings, prosecute the accused and detainagainst Cao Trong Phu for "Murder" and urgently investigate and expand on a number of other related acts.
Previously, as reported, at around 8:00 a.m. on April 30, 2021, a shooting occurred at the gate of Cao Trong Phu's private home (born in 1962), in Hamlet 7, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City, Nghe An Province, causing Dang Ngoc Anh (born in 1956), residing in Ward 1, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City and Ngo Quang Hung (born in 1979), residing in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province to die later. The shooter took the gun into the house after committing the crime and barricaded himself in.
