Nghe An: Highlights of July 3rd
(Baonghean.vn) - Two prominent news items on July 3rd were the event of provincial leaders laying flowers and offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh before the opening of the first session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, and the first day that Vinh City lifted social distancing regulations in accordance with Government Directive 16, transitioning to implementing Directive 15.
*STomorrow morning (July 4th), the Provincial People's Council will hold its first session of the 18th term, 2021-2026. Before the opening ceremony, on the afternoon of July 3rd, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - led a delegation of the Provincial People's Council to the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan) to lay flowers and offer incense.In commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh.

Following the sacred teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the Standing Committee of the 17th Provincial People's Council, together with the provincial People's Council delegates, have united, innovated, and strived to have a successful term, making important contributions to the overall development of the province, meeting the aspirations of voters, consolidating trust, and creating enthusiasm and consensus among the people.
According to the planned agenda, on the morning of July 4th, the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, will proceed with the election of the following positions: Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; heads and deputy heads of the Provincial People's Council's committees, members of the Provincial People's Committee; and People's Assessors of the Provincial People's Court.
*SThe event that has received special attention from the public in Vinh City and Nghe An Province is that from 0:00 on July 3rd, Vinh City officially lifted social distancing measures in accordance with Directive 16 of the Prime Minister.
Following the decision by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province to cease social isolation under Directive 16 and transition to a new phase of social distancing under Directive 15 of the Prime Minister, the People's Committee of Vinh City issued Plan No. 139/KH-UBND early on July 3rd. *SAfter Vinh City stopped implementing Directive 16 of the Prime Minister,Many people flocked to the city.This caused traffic congestion at checkpoints on the morning of July 3rd. According to regulations, in addition to the checkpoints at the ward and commune levels, the city's 13 main checkpoints remain operational. People wishing to pass through the checkpoints must meet requirements such as presenting a certificate confirming a negative rapid test or PCR test result within 3 days of sample collection, completing a health declaration, having their temperature taken, and undergoing disinfection as required.
