Nghe An: Highlights of April 30th

*SOn the morning of April 30th, a solemn ceremony was held at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Special Historical Site in Quang Tri province.Flag-raising ceremony "Unification of the Nation"Commemorating the 47th anniversary of the complete liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2022); commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Tri province (May 1, 1972 - May 1, 2022); and the 50th anniversary of the 81-day and 81-night battle to defend the ancient citadel of Quang Tri.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc; General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense; Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, attended the flag-raising ceremony.

*COn the afternoon of April 30th,Nghi Loc district held a ceremony to announce its achievement of New Rural Area standards.and received the ranking certificate for "Nguyen Xi's Tomb and Temple" as a Special National Historical Monument, and the ranking certificate for "Cau Cam Site" as a National Historical Monument.
