*Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decree No. 07/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated November 8, 2021 on...medical equipment managementIn order to address the shortcomings, limitations, and inadequacies that have arisen recently.
The Government's guiding principle in the Decree stipulates that from 2025 onwards, the system will shift from pre-inspection to post-inspection, with circulation permits having unlimited validity, linked to the responsibility of businesses regarding information on medical equipment and the responsibility of management agencies in organizing inspections and checks. Between now and December 31, 2024, the Ministry of Health will focus on implementing the issuance of circulation permits to completely replace import permits.

*Administrative unit reorganizationThis is a major policy of the Party. The process of rearranging administrative units at the district and commune levels during the 2019-2021 period has closely followed the goals, requirements, and tasks set out in Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017, of the 12th Central Committee of the Party and Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW, dated December 24, 2018, of the Politburo.
On January 30, 2023, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 48-KL/TW on continuing the implementation of the reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2023 period.
To effectively implement the policy of reorganizing district and commune-level administrative units in the period 2023-2030, the Politburo requests Party committees, Party organizations, governments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and mass organizations at all levels to carry out a number of key tasks and solutions, such as: Continuing to implement Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW, dated December 24, 2018, of the Politburo; The reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in the period 2023-2030 must be consistent with provincial planning, rural planning, urban planning, etc.

*The Vuc Giong pumping station (Thai Hoa town) was completed in 2014 with a total cost of over 30 billion VND, but it has remained in operation for a long time.It has been inactive for almost 10 years.Meanwhile, the fields lack water for production.
The Vuc Giong pumping station is one of several pumping stations in the Ban Mong irrigation project, which draws water from the Hieu River and is invested in by the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
This pumping station has 2 submersible pumps, an operating building, a transformer station, 2 main canals nearly 3 km long, and 4 first-level canals over 2.6 km long, with a total investment of over 30 billion VND. According to the design, this pumping station will irrigate over 300 hectares/2 rice crops and other crops in Long Son ward. After more than 10 years of construction, this pumping station has not yet been put into operation.
