Nghe An: Highlights on March 4
(Baonghean.vn) - The Government issued a decree to address the shortage of drugs and medical supplies; continue to reorganize administrative units for the 2023-2030 period; commune land administration to avoid people, receiving "brokers"... are some of the notable contents posted on Baonghean.vn on March 4.
*Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed and issued Decree No. 07/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated November 8, 2021 onmedical equipment managementto resolve the existing problems, limitations and inadequacies arising in recent times.
The Government's guiding viewpoint in the Decree determines that from 2025, the form of pre-inspection will be changed to post-inspection, the circulation number will be valid indefinitely, linked to the responsibility of the enterprise for information on medical equipment and the responsibility of management agencies in organizing inspections and checks. From now until December 31, 2024, the Ministry of Health will focus on implementing the issuance of circulation licenses to completely replace import licenses.

*Administrative unit arrangementis a major policy of the Party. The process of implementing the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2019 - 2021 has closely followed the goals, requirements and tasks set out in Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee and Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW, dated December 24, 2018 of the Politburo.
On January 30, 2023, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 48-KL/TW on continuing to reorganize administrative units at district and commune levels for the 2023-2023 period.
To effectively implement the policy of reorganizing district- and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2030 period, the Politburo requires Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels to carry out a number of key tasks and solutions, such as: Continuing to implement Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW, dated December 24, 2018 of the Politburo; The reorganization of district- and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2030 period must be consistent with provincial planning, rural planning, urban planning, etc.

*Vuc Giong pumping station (Thai Hoa town) was completed in 2014, with a total cost of over 30 billion VND, but throughoutinactive for nearly 10 years,while the fields lack water for production.
Vuc Giong pumping station is one of the pumping stations in the Ban Mong irrigation project taking water from Hieu river, invested by Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
This pumping station has 2 submersible pumps, an operator's house, a transformer station, 2 main canals nearly 3 km long, 4 primary canals more than 2.6 km long, with a total investment of over 30 billion VND. According to the design, this pumping station irrigates over 300 hectares/2 rice crops and crops in Long Son ward. After more than 10 years of construction, this pumping station has not been put into use.
