Nghe An: Highlights of May 4th
(Baonghean.vn) - During the day, several notable events took place in the province, including: Nghe An participating as a remote location for the program "Ho Chi Minh - The Will of Vietnam" on the national television station VTV1; many localities holding grassroots Party congresses for the 2020-2025 term; the Department of Internal Affairs announcing personnel decisions; and information about the first day all students at all levels in the province returned to school after the social distancing period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Another issue of public concern was the shortcomings of some hydropower projects.
*"HHo Chi Minh - The Will of Vietnam”This is a key program in the series of activities commemorating the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth. The program aims to educate about traditions and recall stories about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
The program will connect live television broadcasts between five locations: Hanoi, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, Tuyen Quang, and Dong Thap; it is expected to start at 8 PM on May 19, 2020, and will be broadcast live on VTV1.

*COn the afternoon of May 4th, at the cultural post offices of Nghi Thuan and Nghi Long communes (Nghi Loc district), the Nghi Loc District Post Office held an event.Payment of the first installment of the social welfare support package.The government has allocated 62 trillion VND to 328 beneficiaries of preferential policies for war veterans and their families.
