*DThe COVID-19 pandemic is developing in a complex manner, with many provinces and cities implementing social distancing measures according to Government Directive 16, including Nghe An. Therefore, theThe distribution and consumption of broiler chickens are facing bottlenecks.especially in areas with a large number of large-scale chicken farms.

Currently, the price of broiler chickens has dropped sharply, from 55,000 VND/kg to 40,000 VND/kg. Even more worrying is the fact that chickens ready for slaughter cannot be sold. Farmers typically invest in raising a batch of broiler chickens for 65 days before slaughter, with each chicken weighing around 2 kg. If chickens are sold at the current price of 40,000 VND/kg, farmers are losing approximately 10,000 VND per chicken, and the longer the delay, the greater the losses for the farmers.
