Harvest prayer ceremony of the Thai peopleIn Bản Bộng village, Thành Sơn commune (Anh Sơn district), the ceremony is held at the newly restored temple at the beginning of the village, under the shade of ancient trees by the Con River. This is a religious activity that has been passed down for generations among the Thái people.
At the ceremony, the chief priest, representing the clans, prayed to the gods of the earth, mountains, rivers, and trees for favorable weather, bountiful harvests, abundant fish and shrimp in the rivers, peace in the villages, and good health for all.

With 4 sao (approximately 0.4 hectares) of tomato plants, her family harvested 2 tons of tomatoes before Tet (Lunar New Year), and on the first day of the new year, they harvested 400 kg. The selling price at the farm was 12,000 VND/kg – the highest in many years.
