* On the evening of January 5th, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly held the awarding ceremony for the second Dien Hong Award, a national journalism award on the National Assembly and People's Councils, for the year 2024.

*National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's CouncilsThe second time – in 2024 – coincides with the anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2024).
The Organizing Committee selected 106 works to advance to the final round. The final judging panel voted and selected 79 works to be awarded the second Dien Hong Prize, including 7 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, and 38 Encouragement prizes.
