*SAfter a long Tet holiday, a purse seine boat in Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) went out to sea to fish and after only 2 nights of exploitation,caught more than 10 tons of fishworth nearly 400 million dong.
That is fishing boat number NA 965.75, captained by Mr. Bui Quang Ai in Dai Bac village, Quynh Long commune.
On March 3, Mr. Ai's boat and 15 crew members held a ceremony to go out to sea to exploit seafood more than 50 nautical miles from the mainland. Luckily for his boat, in just 2 nights of exploitation in the open sea, the boat brought in 10 tons of spotted fish and snakehead fish.
This morning (March 6), the ship returned to port to export seafood. Traders bought spotted fish for 32,500 VND/kg, and snakehead fish for 42,000 VND/kg. Thus, Mr. Ai's ship earned nearly 400 million VND. After deducting expenses, each crew member was paid 6 - 7 million VND/person.
