*Cafternoon of November 7th,Vinh Medical UniversityThe school solemnly celebrated its 60th anniversary and the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
Accordingly, on September 8, 1960, the Minister of Health signed Decision No. 504/BYT/QD establishing the Nghe An Medical School, the predecessor of Vinh Medical University today, and authorized the Nghe An Provincial Administrative Committee to manage it, marking a memorable event in the history of education and the revolutionary health sector of Vietnam.
Over 60 years of formation and development, from the Nghe An Medical School with its initially very modest scale, it has now become the spacious and modern Vinh Medical University with a large team of capable, intelligent, dedicated, and committed staff and lecturers, including many Outstanding Educators, Outstanding Physicians, Associate Professors, and Doctors; many teachers have been recognized as excellent teachers at the provincial and national levels.
Vinh Medical University has also trained nearly 50,000 medical professionals, many of whom, including students and staff who have studied and worked at the university, have made valuable contributions to the overall development of the province.

The comrade expressed his wish that the Party committees, authorities, and people of the two villages would always maintain unity; preserve and promote traditional cultural values and national identity; and uphold the title of cultural villages and cultural families. Along with that, to sustainably eradicate poverty, the people need to accelerate the transformation of crop and livestock structures, apply scientific and technological advancements to production, invest in intensive farming to increase productivity; and expand trades and services. Accordingly, on the morning of November 7th, the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Nghe An province held its 4th Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
The Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Nghe An province currently has nearly 400 members. During the past term, the association has regularly exchanged information and strengthened cooperative relationships with Thai partners.
The Association serves as the central coordinating body for effectively carrying out traditional friendship exchange activities within the province and organizing delegations from Nghe An to participate in friendship exchanges in Thailand.
At its congress for the 2020-2025 term, the Association set the goal of continuing to strengthen relations, exchanges, and cooperation with the Thai-Vietnamese Friendship Association of the northeastern provinces of Thailand, social organizations, Thai businesses, and Vietnamese expatriates in Thailand; and partners within the province and nationwide, thereby contributing to further enhancing people-to-people diplomacy.

*"TChapter:After the floods, people lost their appetite and couldn't sleep."Due to serious landslides" is an article reflecting the reality after the floods in some residential areas of Thanh Chuong district.
According to residents of Minh Duc village (formerly Van Tai village), Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district, the erosion along the banks of the Ro River (where they have lived for decades) is causing them great anxiety and worry.
According to observations by reporters, along the Rộ River section passing through Minh Đức village, Võ Liệt commune, many areas of land have been encroached upon by 2-5 meters from residential areas. Many houses in this area are precariously situated on the river's edge, causing residents to live in constant insecurity...

*LIVEIn a contrasting development, following the recent floods, fishermen in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town have returned to sea to catch seafood.Many boats struck it rich with a bountiful catch from the sea.It generates high income.
One fisherman shared: "These past few days, the fishermen have been lucky, earning between 3 and 5 million VND per boat each night from catching squid. Fishing after a storm usually yields a better harvest than usual."
Fresh squid, which has not been frozen, is the most sought-after by traders, and prices have also increased significantly compared to before. Currently, grade 1 squid is priced at 270,000 VND/kg, while smaller squid ranges from 170,000 to 250,000 VND/kg (depending on the type).
This is the shrimp season.Therefore, after only about 3-4 hours of fishing along the coast, fishermen can catch 1-2 quintals of seafood, and with prices ranging from 13,000 to 15,000 VND/kg, they earn 1.5 to 2 million VND.
