*SOn June 7th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control held a meeting to discuss anddecide on some urgent solutionsto prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung stated that, given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the province needs to proactively take measures to strengthen disease prevention and control. Introducing new measures in the spirit of sharing and supporting Ha Tinh province, ensuring effectiveness in disease prevention and control for both Nghe An and Ha Tinh, but absolutely without creating a situation of "blocking roads and markets".

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested a temporary suspension of passenger transport activities originating from Nghe An province to Ha Tinh province (and vice versa), including: bus routes, fixed routes, taxis, and contract vehicles carrying tourists; a temporary suspension of non-essential services: restaurants, food and beverage establishments, cafes, barbershops, hair salons, and beauty salons in the following areas: Vinh City, Cua Lo Town; Nghi Loc District, Hung Nguyen District, and Nam Dan District (food and beverage services are permitted for takeaway). In addition, driver's license testing and training activities are temporarily suspended in these five localities.
