Nghe An: Highlights of September 7th

A delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan district) to lay flowers and offer incense in commemoration, expressing boundless gratitude and profound respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Party and the Vietnamese people, the national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure.

Next, the delegation went to the Soviet-Nghe An - Thinh Hoa Square (Hung Nguyen) to lay flowers and incense, paying tribute and expressing their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the demonstration on September 12, 1930.

Delegates together reviewed the important milestones of the revolutionary movement of 1930-1931 and affirmed that the Nghe-Tinh Soviet is an immortal epic in the first chapter of the "golden history" of the Communist Party of Vietnam, representing the heroic spirit of the Vietnamese nation and the homeland of Nghe An.

The Nghe-Tinh Soviet will forever be a source of pride and honor, instilling confidence and strength in the Party Committee and people of Nghe An to steadfastly pursue the successful implementation of the reform and integration process, and to build the beloved homeland of President Ho Chi Minh into a prosperous province as he wished during his lifetime.

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized:“Implementing Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo and the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, Nghe An has strived to overcome difficulties and challenges, achieving quite comprehensive achievements in various aspects: The economic growth rate in the period 2016-2019 was quite high, reaching 8.47%, and in 2019 alone it reached 9.03%; the provincial budget revenue annually met and exceeded the assigned targets, reaching over 16,600 billion VND in 2019. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction. Agriculture, rural areas, and farmers have seen many positive developments, becoming a bright spot nationwide in the results of implementing the National Target Program for building new rural areas”...

*SOn September 7th, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee,The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented Decision No. 3937-QD/TU, dated August 27, 2020, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the transfer of Comrade Nguyen Ba Chau - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council of Nghi Loc District - to work at the Provincial Cooperative Union.Orientation for electing the ChairmanProvincial Cooperative Union, term 2016 - 2021.

Comrades Ho Phuc Hop and Hoang Nghia Hieu presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the new Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union, Nguyen Van Chau.

*HUng Nguyen is a suburban district of Vinh City. In recent years, with the strong development of Vinh city and industrial zones, the land area in the district has been shrinking.land clearance workServing large-scale projects is always a priority and receives close guidance.

With strong determination and scientific leadership, during the period 2016-2020, Hung Nguyen district focused on land clearance for 22 projects, recovering 350 hectares from 4,431 households, with a total compensation and support amount of 720 billion VND. Of this, concentrated efforts were made on the VSIP project (300 hectares) and the 72m road project (18 hectares, relocating 111 households).

Currently, the district is focusing on land clearance for the North-South Expressway Project and phase 2 of the VSIP Project.

Prof. Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Nghe An province. Accordingly, currently, the Government and the Ministry of Health have not issued any specific directives on quarantine for people returning to the locality from Da Nang City after the Ministry of Transport requested the restoration of 100% operating frequency of all types of transport vehicles.

To meet the province's requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control, on the morning of September 7th, the Department of Health sought the opinion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to develop appropriate and timely solutions.

Accordingly, individuals who have worked, examined, treated, or cared for patients in Da Nang hospitals, and those who have had close contact with Covid-19 patients upon returning to Nghe An, will be placed in centralized quarantine for Covid-19 prevention and control.

*TFrom September 2nd to 6th, the Nghe An Fisheries Surveillance vessels carried out their duties.inspection and penaltiesFour fishing vessels were found in violation, with a total fine of 35 million VND.

All four fishing vessels inspected and fined in this round belonged to fishermen from Dien Ngoc commune (Dien Chau district). Two vessels were fined 5 million VND each for fishing outside their designated area and intentionally abandoning fishing gear in natural waters, and for failing to display their vessel registration numbers.

The other two vessels were fined 12.5 million VND each for fishing in unauthorized areas and for not having adequate safety equipment as required for fishing vessels with a maximum length of 12 meters or more when operating in the fisheries sector.
