Nghe An: Highlights of October 8th

* On the afternoon of October 8th,General Secretary and President To Lam delivered a speech at the closing of the Fourth Plenum of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.The Fourth Plenum of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam has completed its agenda, adopting resolutions, regulations, projects, and other matters within its authority and as stipulated in the conference resolutions.
* Under the chairmanship of Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with specialized advisory and support agencies, Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, and public service units under the Provincial Party Committee to hearResults of tasks performed in the third quarter; orientation of key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2026.
* On the afternoon of October 8th,Working with healthcare units along National Highway 48.Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested a review and allocation of resources for the synchronized investment in infrastructure and equipment; and urged prompt resolution of obstacles in organizational restructuring and improvement of the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in mountainous areas.

*Working with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department,Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department for demonstrating a sense of responsibility in comprehensively advising and implementing policies, contributing to maintaining political and ideological stability, and creating consensus among cadres, Party members, and the people.
*The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a working session with the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of 6 communes:In Con Cuong, Binh Chuan, Mon Son, Mau Thach, Cam Phuc, and Chau Khe, the meeting focused on listening to and resolving difficulties and obstacles in the operation of the two-tiered local government and the implementation of resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council, as well as addressing some long-standing issues of concern to voters.
*The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to hear and give opinions on two issues.This relates to the construction of new rural areas and the development of OCOP products. Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the meeting.
*The People's Committee of Nghe An province held an online conference.With 130 connection points in communes and wards, the focus was on promoting the work of surveying, mapping, and compiling cadastral records, and completing the national land database in the province.
* The health sector has just recorded a case of dengue fever in Ben Thuy 1 block, Truong Vinh ward. Authorities have deployed mosquito control spraying and quarantined the area to proactively prevent and control the outbreak.
