*TIn the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic with the risk of strong spread, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Directive No. 07-CT/TU onStrengthening leadership and direction in preventing and fighting Covid-19 epidemicin the province in the new situation. The directive was issued in the context of the fourth outbreak of Covid-19, which is developing very complicatedly, spreading rapidly, causing serious consequences in many localities.

*CIn Vinh City, on August 7, the City People's Committee issued additional regulations related toCovid-19 prevention and control workin the area. *DTo set up temporary quarantine areas for subjects related to the Covid-19 epidemic, in Nghe An recently, about 500 schools have been requisitioned. *NOn August 7, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union decidedposthumously awarded the "Brave Youth" Badgefor Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien, a police officer of Quynh Luu district, who bravely sacrificed his life while performing the task of controlling and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic.

Previously, on the evening of August 6, 2021, while on duty to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic at the epidemic control checkpoint in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien (born in 1995, an officer of the Security Team, Quynh Luu District Police) unfortunately had an accident.

*VIn the early morning of August 8, 2021, at Dong Son block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district,a serious crime occurred

According to initial information, at the above time, a young man climbed over the fence into Mr. V.D.M's house in Dong Son block, Kim Son town, then went to the bedroom on the 2nd floor and used a knife to repeatedly stab Mr. M's daughter named VNA (born 2004); then stabbed Mr. M's wife, Ms. ATĐ (born 1985), leaving both of them in critical condition.

Through initial verification, the Investigation Police Agency of Que Phong District Police identified the related subject as Lang Kim The Vinh (born 2004), residing in Bac Son block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district.
