The 3rd Congress of Buddhist Delegates of Nghe An province is an important event in the spiritual life of monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province.

At the Congress, delegates elected 28 members to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province for the 2022-2027 term, including 15 permanent members and 13 members. Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu - Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha was elected to continue to hold the position of Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province for the 2022-2027 term.

*NOn May 9, the working group of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development went toCheck the spring crop production situationin Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh and Dien Chau districts.

According to general assessment, although at many stages of growth and development, rice plants are affected by adverse weather conditions, however, in the above localities, spring rice yield still reaches 70 - 72 quintals/ha.

After inspecting the above localities, the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development stated: This year, due to unfavorable weather, the spring rice harvest was delayed by about 10 days compared to previous years, thus shortening the production time for more than 88,000 hectares of summer-autumn rice.
