Nghe An: Collects 229 billion VND from personal income tax.
(Baonghean.vn) - Personal income tax revenue in Nghe An province in the first six months of 2017 reached 229 billion VND, achieving 67.6% of the planned target and increasing by 31.5% compared to the same period last year. This is one of the province's relatively successful revenue sources.

According to a report from the Department of Finance, in the first six months of 2017, state budget revenue in the province was estimated at 5,634 billion VND, reaching 48.6% of the provincial People's Council's projected target and increasing by 16.1% compared to the same period in 2016. Of this, domestic revenue was 4,964 billion VND, reaching 46.7% of the projected target and increasing by 11.3% compared to the same period in 2016.
Among these, several revenue sources performed well, such as: Revenue from land: Land use fees totaled VND 1,006 billion, reaching 50.3% of the projected target, an increase of 27.6% compared to the same period last year; Land lease fees totaled VND 105 billion, reaching 52.6% of the projected target, equivalent to 97.1% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, revenue from locally managed businesses reached 73 billion VND, achieving 57% of the projected target, an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reached 169 billion VND, achieving 58.5% of the projected target, an increase of 10.4% compared to the same period; revenue from the non-state-owned industrial and service sector reached 1,962 billion VND, achieving 41.5% of the projected target, an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period; and environmental protection tax revenue reached 454 billion VND, achieving 61.1% of the projected target, an increase of 27.8% compared to the same period...
However, according to assessments, budget revenue in Nghe An province during the first six months of 2017 fell short of the projected target (48.4%), particularly in some areas such as: revenue from centrally-managed enterprises, revenue from non-state enterprises, registration fees, commune budget revenue, and lottery revenue. Meanwhile, budget expenditure in the province during the first six months was estimated at 10,278 billion VND, reaching only 48.6% of the target set by the Provincial People's Council.
