Nghe An: Collected 229 billion VND from personal income tax

(Baonghean.vn) - Personal income tax in Nghe An province in the first 6 months of 2017 reached 229 billion VND, according to plan reaching 67.6% of the estimate, up 31.5% over the same period. This is one of the province's good sources of revenue.

According to the report from the Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of 2017, the state budget revenue in the area is estimated at 5,634 billion VND, reaching 48.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and increasing by 16.1% compared to the same period in 2016. Of which, domestic revenue: 4,964 billion VND, reaching 46.7% of the estimate and increasing by 11.3% compared to the same period in 2016.

In particular, many revenue sources achieved good results such as: Revenue from land: Land use fee collection was 1,006 billion VND, reaching 50.3% of the estimate, up 27.6% over the same period; Land rent collection was 105 billion VND, reaching 52.6% of the estimate, equal to 97.1% over the same period.

At the same time, revenue from locally managed enterprises was 73 billion VND, reaching 57% of the estimate, up 10.9% over the same period; Revenue from foreign-invested enterprises was 169 billion VND, reaching 58.5% of the estimate, up 10.4% over the same period; Revenue from non-state-owned service and industrial zones was 1,962 billion VND, reaching 41.5% of the estimate, up 10.9% over the same period; Revenue from environmental protection tax was 454 billion VND, reaching 61.1% of the estimate, up 27.8% over the same period...

However, according to the assessment, the budget revenue in the first 6 months of 2017 in Nghe An was lower than the estimated progress (48.4% compared to the estimate), especially some low revenue items such as: Revenue from centrally managed enterprises, Revenue from non-state enterprises, Registration fees, commune budget revenue, lottery revenue. Meanwhile, the budget expenditure in the first 6 months in the area is estimated at 10,278 billion VND, reaching 48.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
