Nghe An: Four passenger buses have had their operating permits revoked for deliberately transporting people from epidemic-affected areas.
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the decision to temporarily suspend passenger transport to and from localities affected by the epidemic, many transport companies are still deliberately violating the regulations.
Given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nghe An Department of Transport has continuously issued numerous directives on strengthening control and strictly handling violations in passenger transport activities to prevent and control the epidemic. These include regulations on temporarily suspending passenger transport to and from localities with outbreaks. However, in recent days, several localities in Nghe An have detected many violations.coachTransporting people from epidemic areas who evade reporting their cases.
Specifically, at 2:30 PM on July 13th, traffic police in Yen Thanh district discovered a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 020.76 belonging to San Hien bus company carrying 20 people from Covid-19 affected areas of Hanoi and Bac Ninh to Yen Thanh district. Of the 20 passengers, 14 were from Hanoi and 6 were from Bac Ninh. These are two localities where the Covid-19 pandemic is currently developing in a complex manner.

Upon inspection, the bus company only had a contract to transport passengers on the Nghe An - Bac Ninh route, but not for the return trip. Furthermore, the passengers on board had not undergone the necessary health declaration and testing procedures as recommended by authorities before returning.
Furthermore, at around 2:00 AM on July 14th, authorities at the Ben Thuy Bridge checkpoint discovered a San Hien passenger bus with license plate 29B - 616.80 carrying 20 passengers from a COVID-19 affected area.Ho Chi Minh City to Nghe An province.

Previously, on July 5, 2021Nghe An Department of TransportWe have also received a document from the Ha Tinh Department of Transport requesting cooperation in inspecting and handling passenger transport vehicles violating regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control. This includes two passenger buses with license plates 38B-014.45 and 38B-012.73 belonging to Huy Hai Transport Cooperative (under the management of the Nghe An Department of Transport - PV), operating passenger transport from Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.
On July 10, 2021, the Nghe An Department of Transport continued to receive reports that vehicle 37B-011.41, belonging to the Western Region Transport and Trade Service Cooperative, was transporting 29 passengers from Binh Duong.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Head of the Transport Department of the Nghe An Department of Transport, stated: Following serious violations of regulations on epidemic prevention and control by transport vehicles, the Department has assigned the Transport Inspectorate to issue administrative violation reports. Simultaneously, the Department has revoked the operating permits and route approvals, and stopped adding vehicles for four vehicles under its management. Regarding the vehicles of the San Hien transport company, managed by the Hanoi Department of Transport, the Department has also issued a document requesting the revocation of their operating permits.
Four passenger buses managed by the Nghe An Department of Transport have had their operating permits and route approvals revoked, including:

2 - Passenger bus license plate 38B-012.73 - Huy Hai Transport Cooperative
3 - Passenger bus license plate 29B-616.80 - Western Region Transport and Trade Cooperative
4 - Passenger bus license plate 37B-011.41 - Western Region Transport and Trade Cooperative
In addition, we request that the Hanoi Department of Transport revoke the vehicle registration sticker for the passenger bus with license plate 37B-020.76.
