Nghe An province collected 4,814 billion VND in revenue during the first two months of 2025.
The above revenue collection information was announced by the People's Committee of Nghe An province at its February 2025 meeting held on the morning of March 7th.
Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presided over the meeting.
Co-chairing the meeting were: Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Nghe An province's state budget revenue collection in the first two months of 2025 reached 4,814 billion VND, equivalent to 27.2% of the provincial People's Council's projected target and 106.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
Of this total, domestic revenue reached 4,608 billion VND; revenue from import and export activities was 192 billion VND; and revenue from mobilized and funded planning sources was 14 billion VND.
In 2025, the provincial People's Council projected budget revenue at 17,726 billion VND. Prior to that, in 2024, Nghe An province exceeded the 25,000 billion VND mark for the first time, reaching 25,517 billion VND, equivalent to 160.4% of the projected target and 118.6% of the 2023 figures.

It is known that the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, sets a target of achieving a budget revenue of 26,000 - 30,000 billion VND by 2025.
According to Plan No. 126/KH-UBND dated February 28, 2025, implementing the GDRP growth scenario in accordance with Government Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP on growth targets for sectors, fields, and localities, ensuring an annual growth target of 8% or higher, Nghe An is determined to achieve a growth target of 10.5% this year as assigned by the Government and strives to achieve a budget revenue of 26,000 billion VND.
To effectively carry out the task of revenue collection in the final year of the term, achieving the goals set forth in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, Nghe An province has determined to continue focusing on reviewing and strictly managing revenue sources.

The province is strengthening the implementation of measures to collect state budget revenue from the early months of 2025, continuing to manage tax debt and write off tax debts according to regulations. It will promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses. It will actively attract businesses to conduct customs procedures at the unit.
Nghe An province is focusing on administrative reform, simplifying administrative procedures in a transparent, convenient, and easy manner; creating a stable business environment to enhance competitiveness, encouraging businesses to invest and conduct production and business activities to nurture revenue sources, thereby contributing to sustainable increases in state budget revenue.
Implement the tasks of the Task Force in the field of State budget revenue collection vigorously, in accordance with Plan No. 96/KH-TCT dated February 17, 2025.
