Nghe An: Organizing the 'Sunflower Beauty Queen' contest.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 6th, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district held a working session with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province to discuss the plan and coordinate the organization of the 2016 Sunflower Festival.

The sunflower festival is scheduled to be held from December 25-29, 2016, with the main venue being the sunflower field in Nghia Son commune, Nghia Dan district.

The festival includes activities such as the opening ceremony, sports and cultural competitions, a photo exhibition, a photo contest featuring beautiful sunflower fields, and the sale of local products and goods. A highlight is the "Sunflower Festival" beauty contest, which is hoped to be a major attraction for the event.

During the meeting, both sides also agreed on the content, solutions, and cooperation program to ensure the event's success.
