Nghe An organizes a seminar titled 'From the Outline on Vietnamese Culture to the Theory of Vietnamese Literature and Arts in the Period of Renovation and Integration'.

Attending the workshop were leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Union of Literature and Arts; representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Culture and Sports, and a large number of artists and writers.

In his introductory report, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Tri Dung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Union of Literature and Arts Associations - gave an overview of the origin and role of "Outline on Vietnamese culture"Regarding the development of the country's culture, the Outline on Vietnamese Culture of the Indochinese Communist Party was born in 1943 under a special, pivotal historical circumstance."

That was the time when Japan invaded Indochina, ousting France and directly establishing fascist rule; World War II was nearing its end; the revolutionary fervor was at its peak, and the country was entering a period of preparation for a general uprising.

Although still only a "draft," the "Outline on Vietnamese Culture" covered many important and pressing issues facing the country: clearly identifying the dangers to Vietnamese culture under colonial and fascist rule; and analyzing the relationship between political revolution and revolution.culture; affirming the Party's leadership role in the cultural revolution; building the Party's new cultural line; gathering cultural figures, intellectuals, and artists to participate in the national liberation struggle.

Throughout the Vietnamese revolutionary leadership, in every period and stage, our Party has always emphasized the role of culture, promoting the power of culture in the cause of national defense andnation buildingOver the past 80 years, our Party has applied, supplemented, and developed the viewpoints, ideas, and content of the 1943 "Outline on Vietnamese Culture" from a Marxist perspective and in the spirit of dialectics.

The seminar brought together 10 papers from artists and writers in the province, focusing on the following issues: the important role and enlightening significance of the "Outline on Vietnamese Culture" in the building and development of the national culture; and clarifying the application, inheritance, supplementation, and promotion of the values ​​of the Party's Outline on Vietnamese Culture over the past 80 years.

At the same time, clarify the issue of applying and promoting the values ​​of the "Outline on Vietnamese Culture" in building and developing culture, literature, and art, and building people with the identity of Nghe An province.
