Nghe An: Award ceremony for the 2022 'Hello Nam Dan' online photo contest.

The ceremony was attended by leaders from the Department of Tourism; leaders from Nam Dan district; the authors whose works won awards; and photography enthusiasts.

In practical celebration of the 2022 Lotus Village Festival and the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2022), with the aim of promoting communication and showcasing the image of Nghe An province in general, its people, culture, and tourism, the country, its people, culture, and tourism in particular.Nam DanSpecifically, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Nam Dan district, organized the online photo contest “Hello Nam Dan” in 2022.

The competition aims to encourage and honor authors with novel, creative, and unique works that offer a fresh perspective.tourismThis will provide information about the land, life, people, culture, tourist destinations, and services of Nam Dan district. Through this, we invite domestic and international tourists to come and experience and explore.

The Organizing Committee received nearly 300 entries from over 30 participating authors. The judging process was conducted seriously and strictly in accordance with the regulations. The entries were evaluated as showcasing the rich and diverse landscapes of Nam Dan, from pristine natural beauty to the beauty of modern life.scenic spotsTraditional festivals, famous tourist attractions.

The artwork "The Sacredness of Dai Tue Pagoda" by author Vo Thi Hanh won first prize in the competition.

There are works that depict simple, hardworking life, showcasing the diligent and resilient people of Nam Dan. Deep within these works lies a deep love, appreciation, and attachment to the land of Nam Dan. These works are not merely images seen through a lens, but also contain the authors' feelings for their beloved Nam Dan.

As a result, the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel have made the following decision.awardThree prizes were awarded to three works (“Releasing Animals for Peace” by Vu Thai Quang; “Nam Dan Incense” by Pham Quoc Dan; “The Road to Lang Sen Village” by Vo Thanh Vinh); second prize was awarded to two works (“Tourists Offering Incense at the Tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan” by Pham Quoc Dan; “The Road to Uncle Ho's Hometown” by Vo Thanh Vinh); and first prize was awarded to the work “The Sacredness of Dai Tue Pagoda” by Vo Thi Hanh.

In addition to the official awards, the Organizing Committee also awarded 05 Consolation Prizes to the works with the highest number of votes.

The first-prize winning entry received a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
