(Baonghean.vn) - Among the 288 citizens who received certificates this time, 3 had close contact with patient number 210.

On the afternoon of April 3rd, at the 40th Cua Hoi Rehabilitation Center, Military Region 4, in coordination with the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province, organized the handover and presentation of certificates to citizens who had completed their centralized quarantine period, allowing them to return to their localities.Attending the handover ceremony were Major General Phan Van Sy - Deputy Head of Political Department of Military Region 4; and Colonel Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

During this handover, 288 citizens were awarded certificates confirming the completion of their 14-day quarantine period to prevent the spread of Covid-19. These are Vietnamese citizens returning from Laos and Thailand via the Cha Lo (Quang Binh), Cau Treo (Ha Tinh), and Nam Can (Nghe An) border gates, who were quarantined at the Cua Hoi 40th Rehabilitation Center from 7 PM on March 20, 2020, to 3:30 AM on March 21, 2020.

During centralized quarantine for COVID-19 prevention and control, these citizens strictly adhered to the regulations of the quarantine area and disease prevention measures. In return, all citizens received good healthcare and were provided with adequate living amenities.

Among the 288 citizens who received certificates this time, 3 had close contact (F1 and F2) with patient 210 (currently isolated and treated in Ha Tinh). Before the handover ceremony, the Nghe An Center for Disease Control and Prevention collected samples from these 3 individuals for testing. The test results showed that all 3 samples were negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Following these 288 citizens, the remaining 132 citizens currently undergoing centralized quarantine at the 40th Cua Hoi Rehabilitation Center will also complete their quarantine period and return to their hometowns in the next 1-2 days.
