Nghe An province grants sentence reductions to 6 prisoners in the second phase of 2025.
On the morning of September 19th, the Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center held a ceremony to announce and present decisions on sentence reductions for 6 inmates in the second phase of 2025. Of these, 4 inmates received a complete reduction of their remaining sentences.
The sentence reduction process is conducted seriously, objectively, and according to proper procedures, ensuring transparency and fairness in identifying eligible individuals in accordance with the law. The sentence reduction decision is reviewed by the Sentence Reduction Council of the Nghe An Provincial Police and ratified by the Provincial People's Court.
